Letters to myself

Driving officially begins tomorrow… somehow, i’m not that excited. i wonder why. hopefully, things would get better after tomorrow’s lesson. This reminds me of ammu’s (or is velutha? rahel? estha? – what fantastic memory i know) comment about how things can only get better.

Things will get better melisa loh. One day, you’d look forward to going to the driving centre with those tacky colourful windows which remind you of a clown, mocking at your inability to secure more practical sessions. get accustomed to all the money-making schemes. suspicious people who lurk outside puffing away whist staring at you with those vacant yellow eyes. squeezy toilet cubicles that discriminate against larger sized persons (note to self: stay small). endless and countless searches on the super user-unfriendly website. the cannot-make it classroom which smells too much air freshener and resemble the earth’s poles.

But than again, what did you expect? Lifelong skills won’t be lifelong if they were that easily attained.

Yeap! Things would get better… Don’t despair! Relish this opportunity! (c:
